DAYCARE

If you are like most dog lovers, you feel bad leaving your friend home alone when you are forced to go somewhere that doesn't allow dogs (grrrrrrrr)... like work, school, the hospital, friends' houses, parties. Wouldn't it be so much better for your pup if they could spend that time socializing with other dogs and people... getting exercise, receiving love and attention, and just having some good old-fashion fun? Well, we've got you covered. Just drop your fur babies off with us and we'll be sure that they don't miss you too much. Our facility provides a safe, active, fun environment for your dog to hang out in while you get through your arduous task of living without them for what seems like forever.

But don't worry, they will always be glad to see you when you pick them up!!

What is required for my dog to come to daycare?

All dogs* participating in daycare must be up to date on the following vaccinations...

          > Bordetella

          > Parvovirus & Distemper (DHPT)

          > Leptospirosis

          > Rabies

Participants must also be on a flea and tick regiment such as Frontline or Advantage. Flea collars are not sufficient, with the exception of the Bayer Seresto Collar (which we highly recommend and can provide to you!)

* Puppies as young as 7-8 weeks can come to The Barking Lot as the earlier a dog is socialized, the better prepared they will be enjoy the world around them.  Puppies should receive a minimum of one set of vaccines at least 7 days prior to their first visit and a first deworming. They should be kept up-to-date on vaccines throughout their daycare experience.
